Morning… Home, Day 2

Started off my breakfast with mangoes. Looks nice, but some were not completely ripe. Most of the inner part was ripe while the outer part was rather hard.

… my favourite 3-in-1 drink. Old Town White Milk Tea.

… poured in whole pack…

… “island” started to sink lower…

… gotten smaller…

… barely afloat…

… voila! a little bit of stirring and ready to be served.

Rating: 7.5/10

It tasted better when it’s not hot. So I prefer to drink it much later when it’s cooler. But I gulped this down when it was still warm. The taste was rather bland, heavy with creamer. Otherwise it would’ve gotten an 8/10 or 8.5/10.

… homemade chinese ba-cang. Mum’s own recipe with custom picked ingredients…

… but the pork fats was not part of my plan. I tried to discard it already, but there were just too much.

… my mum opened another one for me, which is pork-fats free. YAY!

… let’s take a peek on the inside. It has mushroom, dried mussel, sausage, salted egg yolk, lean meat and lastly, conpoy (dried scallops).

Rating: 9.5/10

The lacking of 0.5 point to perfection was being that the fragrance from the mussel was not able to seeps into the glutinous rice. Hence when you bite into the mussel, the heavy smell sort of invaded your mouth. Scary and orgasmic at the same time. It’s a dilemma.
