I was with my gf, meeting my sister at Low Yat Plaza, and we stopped by at a HK style coffee shop for a snack break.

… 6 pieces of shaomai (燒賣) for the 3 of us.

snow fungus (雪耳) red dates tong sui (糖水), but way too much ice.

… my gf had an iced milk tea, with a cute looking spoon. Looks so tropical.

… and my sister had a warm soy milk.

Rating: 4.5/10

I’m not fond of eating shaomai myself. I’d prefer har gow (蝦餃) most of the time when I have dim sum (點心). Too much ice on my tong sui and needless to say, none of the HK style cafe could make a good cup of iced milk tea. Instead, head on to your local mamak stalls for a decent cup of iced milk tea.
