The food were quite good, the crab meat was really sweet. The rice was just right, though another plate of plain rice was a bit too much just for the 3 of us, especially there are more dishes to come. Lamb was as fat as it gets, yet the meat was tender. Don’t drink the juice as unseen stuff goes into your body and never comes out.

Overall, it was a good dinner experience. Bill came up to around RM180 for the 3 of us. A price to be reckoned with seeing that the restaurant is located in Bukit Tinggi (not the 1 in Klang, mind you and mind the price) and it’s forever crowded. Bring more people in to shave off the price as there are a lot more good stuffs that have yet hit our table.

Running out of stuff to eat, DL brought us to his regular hangout place. He said it’s a low cost dinner and the fried chicken was nice. To me, the fried chicken was fresh, freshly fried. Which also means that it was soaked in cooking oil and animal fats. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the kind of chicken that I like. I would still vouch for the ayam goreng sempalit at DoReMi.

This is the second time I visit this place. The last time I came, which introduced by FV, I had my first encounter with pig’s drumstick (細骨). It was really tasty and unique as I never thought bkt would have such type of meat served. It was tender, yet lean, which was my favourite. Unfortunately, for today’s drumstick, the meat was rather dry and hard. It has lost the legacy of being the best type of pork meat for bkt.

The original is still unmatched, albeit it was really spicy. I had only 2 scoops. Should have gone with only 1.

Finally, I found a my favourite coffee place, which I can hangout during weekends. Though it’s not too near, but it was convenient, with plenty of parking space. Most importantly, the place is cozy and it has free Wifi Internet access.

There were 4 flavoured sausages on that grilled sausage plater. They were quite nice cause they don’t have that kind of pungent smell from other pork sausages that I had. As for the mixed platter, the pork belly was acceptable cause the fats were not to thick. My piece of pork rib was easy to manage cause the meat fall off the rib bone easily, while EL’s piece was very stubborn though.

Lunch with DL and YMH. Ordered the usual stuff, but this time we have a steamed silver grunter in Thai style. It was really nice, sourish gravy with plenty of jalapeno which sends you sky rocket into the moon. I will probably keep this in mind for my next visit there when they don’t have stock on cod fish.

... this 糯米雞 was recommended by SLYK. I liked it since then, though it has no mushroom in it.

Drink more water after the 糯米雞, cause it really kills your throat. If not yours, mine definitely fatal. But it tasted nice, sweet. Wanton mee was good, just that I don’t think it’s worth waiting that long, cause by the time the noodle was served, you are full with 糯米雞 already, cause you would keep eating it while waiting.

An acceptable dinner per pax, with rather healthier taste, or how I felt, to conventional fast food fried chicken. First time there with ALGJ, after KLIMS 2010. Been wanting more ever since.

Today, MSF wanted to go KL. So I proposed to eat at my favourite Western breakfast place. And yes, she was very very satisfied, so was I.
