... the hunt, is over.

... Extreme Mocha.

Finally, I found a my favourite coffee place, which I can hangout during weekends. Though it’s not too near, but it was convenient, with plenty of parking space. Most importantly, the place is cozy and it has free Wifi Internet access.

... 4 different flavours of pork sausages.

... mixed pork platter.

Rating: 6/10

There were 4 flavoured sausages on that grilled sausage plater. They were quite nice cause they don’t have that kind of pungent smell from other pork sausages that I had. As for the mixed platter, the pork belly was acceptable cause the fats were not to thick. My piece of pork rib was easy to manage cause the meat fall off the rib bone easily, while EL’s piece was very stubborn though.

... set meal at ChicKing, fast food for less than RM10.

Rating: 6/10

An acceptable dinner per pax, with rather healthier taste, or how I felt, to conventional fast food fried chicken. First time there with ALGJ, after KLIMS 2010. Been wanting more ever since.

... bacons omelette, what else could you have asked for in a breakfast?

Today, MSF wanted to go KL. So I proposed to eat at my favourite Western breakfast place. And yes, she was very very satisfied, so was I.

PG was enjoying the view of The Curve Boulevard yesterday when we were at Italiannies. He wanted to experience the same thing again today, hence we went next door of Italiannies, the brother company, TGI Friday’s. PG ordered the ribs while I picked the appetizer.

The appetizer was quite good, though the price was not cheap. While the ribs was interesting, but it was a bit charred/dried. Anyway, I’ve never had beef ribs for eons, I guess once a while makes no harm to my strict diet. The dessert was very sweet though. I thought I could substitute Chili’s molten chocolate cake with this brownies, but I guess I was wrong. Both of use could barely finish it.

... recommended this prawn aglio olio to PG for his 1st time.

Rating: 6.5/10

I found out from PG that he has never tried Italiannies’ Aglio Olio pasta before, hence I suggested that we go there for early dinner. It’s been a while since I last had pasta there as well. This time, I ordered my favourite stuffed mushrooms as well. I wasn’t sure if it was because I never had stuffed mushrooms for too long, I find that the taste was different, just wasn’t as good as the 1st few times I had it.

As for the pasta, PG was very satisfied with it. He said he never expected it to be that good. I was very satisfied with the pasta as well, as it was consistent all of the time I patronise Italiannies.

... my favourite grilled lamb shoulder from Chili's.

Rating: 6.5/10

We ended our day with the last meal at Chili’s Bar and Grill. I told PG that the last time I had lamb shoulder in Chili’s was great. Probably the best I could find in town as Friday’s has forsaken their classic grilled lamb. Hence we ordered a grilled lamb shoulder for the each of us. To my amazement, the portion was quite big for mere lamb shoulder as the last time I had them, the portion was about 2/3 of what I was getting today. I was guessing it could be due to the new opening of this particular outlet in Empire Shopping Gallery. Anyway, the grilled lamb was fantastic until the last bit, but a tad too salty though. In the end, I still couldn’t manage to finish everything on the plate. I was left with some mashed potato, while PG was managed to lick his clean.

... I ordered a Seafood Aglio Olio Spaghetti.

... Kuma's Carbonara Spaghetti.

Rating: 6.5/10

I was told that the spaghetti here was nice, especially aglio olio. This time I finally remember to come here to give it a try. Brought a long Kuma, ALGJ and TSL. The pasta variety was quite different from other place. Firstly, choose your type of flavour, such as bolognaise, carbonara, aglio olio and etc. Then choose the fillings, such as vegetarian, beef, seafood, salmon and etc.

I wasn’t quite interested on the salmon, cause it’s the most expensive. Kuma ordered the beef carbonara hence I picked the seafood aglio olio. It tasted like most aglio olio, with dried chilis in it. Though the seafood was quite fresh. It cost around RM23 per plate, which was quite reasonable. Though I still prefer the aglio olio taste of Italiannies’. Kuma had a little complain though, as she preferred the carbonara spaghetti from Asia Cafe instead.

ALGJ ordered chicken chop, though that was like the n-th plate of chicken chop she had for the week. The taste was not bad, a lot better than most chicken chops in town. Our basket of chicken wings was mediocre though. And my cappuccino came with a cup of sugar which looks like a golf ball.

... CTSW ordered the Sloppy Joe. It comes with a special dipping sauce.

... not sure if original meatloaf is like this, but this was quite nice, but very filling.

Rating: 7/10

This is my first time here despite it’s quite near to where I stay. Aside from that, I didn’t even know this place existed. CTSW whom has been here before, wasn’t being much of a help on what to have. He ordered something light, the Sloppy Joe, while he did mentioned that the meatloaf was nice. When I saw the pork ribs on the menu, I can’t help but ordered it so we could try more stuff.

His Sloppy Joe was not bad. The sauce was like bolognaise sauce used in pasta. Dip the bun, fries into the sauce, or laden the bun with sauce and fries, then eat like a burger.

The meatloaf was indeed quite nice. Despite being only 2-little piece, they were quite tasty and soft. Somehow, the mashed potato was overkilling.

The marinated pork ribs was quite nice. A little sweetened and they fell off the bones easily.

The food here was quite nice, but we were dead full. The price was reasonable. All these cost less than RM70. A good alternative if one has had too much Friday’s or Chili’s.
